Shadowleaf is a pretty good starting hero. Her elite missions are slightly hard to get, but there are three sets eventually. Chapters 2, 8 and 12 have elite missions for her. I think she’s a little squishy stat wise, but that’s OK since she just sits in the back and shoots arrows at the other team. She has some decent skills too.
Her super move is Arrow Rain. Shadowleaf fires multiple arrows into the air and they fall down onto enemies. This move kinda sucks. She shoots about 10-15(?) arrows that seek out random targets. If there are 5 enemies that means about 2 or 3 arrows will actually hit each enemy. The damage for each arrow isn’t that great either. This move is only good when there are a few enemies on the field (1 or 2 enemies).
Her other 2 special moves are Icespark, and Silence. When Shadowleaf uses Icespark, she shoots an icy arrow at an enemy. It does more damage and reduces the enemies speed and or effectiveness. It’s actually considered physical damage for some reason. Silence is a great de-buff spell. It prevents enemies from using their special skills and super moves. This lasts a couple of seconds and only seems to affect one line of heroes. Leveling up Silence only increases the level of enemies that can be affected.
Shadowleaf’s final skill is a passive one. It’s called Forest Rage and it increases the whole team’s physical attack power. It’s really good skill, especially for physically based teams. It increases normal attacks as well as some physical special moves.
Final word: Great against bosses, anti-mage/anti-skill thanks to silence, and increases physical damage of the whole team.
